Description: we start from the Central Balkan Mountains (Stara Planina) where we visit the Troyan Monastery. The road will take us through the most beautiful natural reserves of the mountain – Dzhendemite and Stara reka. This Balkan march finishes with the architectural town-reserve Koprivshtitza. We shall see the Roman amphitheatre in Plovdiv and the Bachkovo Monastery, famous for its lovely frescoes. Riding bikes, we shall reach 2000 m in Rila. Finally we shall make an unforgettable sailing downstream by boats in the Struma River defile where we shall bivouac in tents. And before leaving, we shall view the largest monastery in Bulgaria – a pillar of the Bulgarian national spirit – the Rila monastery.

In short: arrival at Sofia airport; a group of minimum 4 persons; activity between 5 and 8 hours a day; displacement up to 1300m; accommodation in huts and family hotels, transfers by minibuses, transport for the luggage ensured, a local mountain and cultural guide /in the respective language/, board and lodging; multi-active and fully provided programme – bike, rafting, rope games equipment; a night of the Bulgarian cuisine; camping by the Struma river; the museum fees and tips are not included in the price.
