SKITOURING IN BULGARIA

Rila and Pirin are the highest mountains in Bulgaria. They were formed after the retreat of the quaternary glaciers and look very much like the mid-high Alps. The rough terrain makes the ski touring and freeride challenging and interesting. Being not very popular in Bulgaria, ski touring in the country will give you the chance to enjoy the unspoiled nature. The long slopes of the tour and the good snow conditions will guarantee you a great off-piste skiing.
